Woke up early and spent the morning listening to some old and recently arrived Villa-Lobos Discs - very enjoyable!. I am really starting to appreciate this composer who I was recommended on a CM Forum - his voice is Modern, Romantic and approachable with a bit of Bombast, I like it a lot.
I was very taken by my first listen of the String Quartets and think I am going to really like this cycle. The Piano Trios are also early listens and seem promising as well.
